| It's amazing how much of Jay-Z's lyrics still go over people's heads, even when he's on cruise control. For instance, I can't believe how many people misinterpreted "Twerk, Miley, twerk" as an example of Jay trying to be hip. Worse still, some perceived it as a direct endorsement of Miley's twerking skills when, in fact, Jay was making a larger statement about cultural revolution. Whatever the case, guest critic Shannon Barbour has a firm grasp of Jay-Z lyrics, and she paints a vivid picture of 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' in this week's feature review. Picasso, baby. |
