Rapper LL Cool J Cut From Sarah Palin's Show

LL Cool J’s appearance on a Fox News Channel special hosted by Sarah Palin has been cut, after the rapper complained about the interview on his Twitter page. Fox issued a statement today (March 31st) and admitted they used a 2008 interview featuring LL Cool J for a segment titled “Real American Stories.” “Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palins Show. WOW,” LL Cool J Tweeted. "Real American Stories" is a one-hour series that is scheduled to debut Thursday (April 1st) at 10:00 PM. The show features other notable figures like General Electric’s Jack Welch, country singer Toby Keith and others. "Contrary to what was reported, LL Cool J was never scheduled to be a guest on 'Real American Stories' with Sarah Palin this week," Rhett Usry told the Associated Press. "The show had planned to use an interview from 2008 that was being repurposed without LL's permission. This statement is not a reflection of any feelings LL has toward Fox News or Ms. Palin, whom he has never met, rather a clarification of what we have seen published in the media."

Suge Knight Loses Teeth In Car Accident

Marion “Suge” Knight was involved in a car accident that knocked out his front teeth, according to his lawyer, Marc Brumer. Brumer told The Miami New Times, that last week, Knight missed a deposition for a lawsuit he filed against Kanye West in Miami, due to the car accident. "He was in a pretty serious car accident," Brumer told The Miami New Times. "He lost a couple of teeth, he's in pain, and he can't speak." The former Death Row Records’ boss is suing Kanye West and The Shore Club over a 2005 shooting during an event West hosted at the South Beach hotspot. Knight was shot in the femur and had to undergo surgery. Additionally, Knight claims West is responsible for his medical bills and a $135,000 diamond earring that was allegedly stolen from him during the fracas. "He's a very adept businessman,” Brumer said of Knight. “He's a mess, but he's sharp. Nobody likes Kanye West anymore. Even though he's still selling millions of records, everybody's sick of him.”

Fat Joe Returns With 'The Darkside' This Summer

E1 Music has confirmed with AllHipHop.com the signing of seasoned Bronx rapper and Terror Squad leader Fat Joe, who will drop a new album The Dark Side this summer. Joe’s last offering with 2009’s Jealous Ones Still Envy 2 (J.O.S.E. 2), released on EMI subsidiary Imperial Records. It has been 17 years since Fat Joe made his debut with the 1993 boom bap single “Flow Joe,” and the album Represent. From initial humble beginnings with the critically-acclaimed Diggin’ In the Crates crew, the self-proclaimed Don Cartagena has gone on to sell over 2.5 million records. “It’s been a long time coming. I have a long history with Alan Grunblatt and everyone at E1,” Fat Joe detailed in a statement. “Although it’s a small label, they have the best marketing and promotion staff in the hip hop game and I’m looking forward to working with them on my new album, The Dark Side.” The first single, “Slow Down,” features Young Jeezy and will debut soon in urban radio outlets.
