Will.I.Am Debuts New Track During Superbowl

A new track by Black Eyed Peas rapper will.I.am will debut during Super Bowl XLIV tonight (February 7) during an advertisement for FLO TV titled “Moments.” The track is a remix of The Who’s classic Rock & Roll song “My Generation,” which calls people to take action on pressing humanitarian concerns. All proceeds from the digital sales of the remix will be donated to Oxfam’s Haiti Earthquake Response Fund. The track will air just before The Who’s half-time performance during the Super Bowl, which sees The Colts facing off against The New Orleans Saints in Miami. “We were in the middle of a remix for a Super Bowl ad of one of the great songs of our time – ‘My Generation’ – when this tragic earthquake hit Haiti,” will.i.am told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “I was moved to do something, and I immediately reached out to Pete Townshend and FLO TV...all proceeds from the song will go directly to benefit the people of Haiti."
