A transatlantic grime-trap fusion with progressive lyrics for 2021

Skatta drops lyric video for 'King Kong' produced by produced by LawlessProd x Juberlee
"We could all chat about crud, but how is that affecting the youth?"

'King Kong' is the latest single from the Coventry artist's recent Hardships EP, and whilst his delivery and flow are sounding fresh and fired up, the lyrical content emphasizes a progressive and uplifting message.

Skatta rightfully explains how defining success through object wealth is the easy route, and this path of greed is not the one for him, which is why he doesn't want to glorify it in his music.

"This track reminds me of a firework - it's the best way I could start 2021. With the grime and trap fusion, it's a song with transatlantic appeal, supported by a positive outlook on negatives that occur on a daily basis."

'King Kong' is lifted from 'Hardships', Skatta's second EP of 2020 following a knock-out performance on Fight Night Flows.

Now, thanks to Deevelopmedia, 'King Kong' has an accompanying lyric video which you can watch here.

The rising star of Coventry has seen serious support from the likes of Trench Mag and Mixtape Madness, with support from BBC 1xtra, Rinse FM, Pyro Radio and more.
