Hype-O fuses Nigerian afrobeat with lyrical hip hop with Chozen 1ne on 'Naija 2 LDN'

Fresh heat out of UK, as afrobeat and hip hop fuse to bring this new funky new single from Hype-O & Chozen 1ne. Produced by JGlad, the West African guitar riffs are in full effect on this feel good and bouncy party starter.

The vocals throughout showcase Hype-O's cool, laid back delivery and flow patterns, which are complimented by his calm and deep tones. Chozen 1ne brings that authentic Nigerian vibe on the hook, with a harmonised approach injecting an exotic and lighter feeling to the song.

"The tracks called Naija 2 London - 'Naija' being the slang name for my birth place Nigeria. It basically means the New Nigeria - the Nigeria my generation are proud to be associated with, and it represents our pride and unity as a nation.

I moved to London when I was a kid and then to Lincoln (where the video was shot) a little later on. The track features London based singer/rapper 'Chozen 1ne'. When we were making the track we wanted to give it a fun, summer feel with an Afro beat vibe. Incorporating both sides of our British and African culture in the track and video."
