Opa-Locka, Florida rapper Brisco turned himself in to authorities to face assault charges today (June 11th). Police released more details regarding the altercation that left one man being seriously injured and Brisco facing equally serious charges. According to reports, the rapper sent a man named Giovanni Nagy a text message saying that he planned to assault him, for reasons not yet known. When Brisco showed up to Nagy's apartment complex, the man's mother attempted to come outside to calm rapper. When Nagy came out to defend his mother, the 18-year-old was assaulted and beaten unconscious by Brisco. Earlier in the week, Brisco's label mate Billy Blue offered a defense for the rapper, claiming Brisco was in Haiti with him at the time of the assault. That may be hard to prove in court, as Nagy's mother took pictures of Brisco committing the assault with her phone.
