My hunt for Rihanna's Anti confirmed to me that consumers lose when streaming platforms compete. Anti is about brokering a one-of-a-kind deal, the type typical of the Jay Zs, Drakes and Beyoncés. Cue the decision to issue Anti with varying levels of access to the myriad, competing streaming platforms. In the end, there was only one winner: Rihanna.
