Compton, California rapper Game has responding to growing reports and rumors that he is dead. Reports began to spread across the Internet that Game was shot and killed last night (June 20th) during an altercation at the Beverly Center, just after midnight in Los Angeles. "All these rumors that I've been shot are phony just like half the rappers in the game," Game told AllHipHop.com in an exclusive statement. "I'm still here, promoting my R.E.D. Album, so when it drops, go get it or else you might end up dead like me (laughs)." The rapper's name quickly became a trending search topic as listed by Google, but many were skeptical of the news, due to a recent security breach involving Google Trends and the manipulation of keywords. Game's latest release the R.E.D. Album is due in stores on August 24th.
