All female hip hop line up for Finsbury Park gig

UK LEGEND BELLA GOTTI (Formerly NO LAY) TO HEADLINE 100% FEMALE HIPHOP LINE UP AUGUST 16 IN LONDON

In a scene dominated by male talent, Girls In Front shines the limelight on the wealth of UK female rappers as the world shifts it’s consciousness towards gender equality.

Following her rebrand from No Lay to Bella Gotti, the legendary UK femcee leads the way, following her co-sign by WomenOfHipHop.Com and a feature request from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Karlie Redd! Bella has the reputation as the most revered UK female MC in the game!

Lyrically Challenged Collective, consisting of Shay D, MC Angel, Sirena Reynolds and DJ Shorty have been packing out Hackney’s Passing Clouds venue for nearly five years, dubbed as ‘hip hop innovators’ by The Independent. Their set will bring a heavy dose of uplifting lyricism and positivity with a gift of turning the crowd insane!

Batz Inda Belfry, the newly signed Manchester duo of Envy and One Da will be tearing the stage down with their in-your-face raps, following the new video ‘Seaweed’. Envy has been co-signed by The Guardian’s ‘New Band Of The Week’ column and is the breakfast host of Unity Radio in Manchester.

Also performing is BBC co-signed starlet Elektric - a Birmingham raised poet, songwriter and actor who brings ‘an old school hip hop flow that meets new school soul’, and C Cane an emerging star of the grime scene, who is appearing as part of Big Narstie’s BDL UK tour.

Up and comers are also given the opportunity to shine, with £250 of promotion from BlatantlyBlunt Promo up for grabs. Entrants are encouraged to sign up online here.

Intimate North London venue The Silver Bullet in Finsbury plays host to the event - with 200 capacity this event is sure to be wall to wall with hip hop lovers and music fans who are looking for something different from the norm - good vibes, pure hip hop talent and real soulful music!

Seven year running music platform Blatantly Blunt are behind ‘Girls In Front’ as they celebrate the re-launch of their digital media platform, expanding beyond music into visual art and lifestyle content. Their past shows have been headlined by P Money, Melanin 9 and Genesis Elijah!
